Nic Starr

Nic Starr lives in Australia where she tries to squeeze as much into her busy life as possible. Balancing the demands of a corporate career with raising a family and writing can be challenging but she wouldn’t give it up for the world.

Always a reader, the lure of m/m romance was strong and she devoured hundreds of wonderful m/m romance books before eventually realising she had some stories of her own that needed to be told!

When not writing or reading, she loves to spend time with her family–an understanding husband and two beautiful daughters–and is often found indulging in her love of cooking and planning her dream home in the country.

If It Flies (A Market Garden Tale)

If It Flies - Aleksandr Voinov, L.A. Witt When [b:Take It Off|17303130|Take It Off (Market Garden, #2)|L.A. Witt|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1359419873s/17303130.jpg|23959898] book #2 of the Market Garden series ended, Tristan and Jared had just acknowledged their interest in each other outside of Market Garden and made arrangements to contact each other on their day off. Somehow I expected this book to be the continuation of that story (obviously not reading the blurb before launching in!). I was therefore surprised when the book was about Spencer and Nick. But is was a very pleasant surprise! I loved the story of Spencer and Nick. The book itself is very different to the earlier books in the series. Not only is it longer but it tells a story over an extended period of time i.e. is not based on one major scene. The characters have time to develop and their dominant/submissive relationship matures. Their sexual encounters were beautifully written but it was their growing emotional involvement that made it such an enjoyable story.4.5 stars
