Wow really enjoyed this book and ended up rating it 5 stars. But it did take while to grow on me. At the beginning of the book I found it hard to get to grips with D. His speech pattern was initially difficult to read and I didn't find it attractive. However about 30% in things started to change. Not only did the romance start to kick in but everything stepped up a level. By 50% I was totally hooked! I also found the ending a bit drawn out (the introduction of new lives and characters) but assume this is needed to roll into the next book of the series. The book is still a fabulous read and I will be reading follow ups to the series.
