Nic Starr

Nic Starr lives in Australia where she tries to squeeze as much into her busy life as possible. Balancing the demands of a corporate career with raising a family and writing can be challenging but she wouldn’t give it up for the world.

Always a reader, the lure of m/m romance was strong and she devoured hundreds of wonderful m/m romance books before eventually realising she had some stories of her own that needed to be told!

When not writing or reading, she loves to spend time with her family–an understanding husband and two beautiful daughters–and is often found indulging in her love of cooking and planning her dream home in the country.

Zero at the Bone (Zero at the Bone, #1)

Zero at the Bone (Zero at the Bone, #1) - Jane Seville Wow really enjoyed this book and ended up rating it 5 stars. But it did take while to grow on me. At the beginning of the book I found it hard to get to grips with D. His speech pattern was initially difficult to read and I didn't find it attractive. However about 30% in things started to change. Not only did the romance start to kick in but everything stepped up a level. By 50% I was totally hooked! I also found the ending a bit drawn out (the introduction of new lives and characters) but assume this is needed to roll into the next book of the series. The book is still a fabulous read and I will be reading follow ups to the series.
