Nic Starr

Nic Starr lives in Australia where she tries to squeeze as much into her busy life as possible. Balancing the demands of a corporate career with raising a family and writing can be challenging but she wouldn’t give it up for the world.

Always a reader, the lure of m/m romance was strong and she devoured hundreds of wonderful m/m romance books before eventually realising she had some stories of her own that needed to be told!

When not writing or reading, she loves to spend time with her family–an understanding husband and two beautiful daughters–and is often found indulging in her love of cooking and planning her dream home in the country.

Dirty Laundry (Tucker Springs, #3)

Dirty Laundry (Tucker Springs, #3) - Heidi Cullinan A very interesting set of characters - the nerd and the muscle-bound bouncer. Adam seemed quite stereotyped with his study of bugs, wearing glasses and crippling OCD together with panic attacks. Denver seemed quite stereotyped as the big, dumb guy without prospects working the door of a bar. However all is not as it seems and there is much more to these characters.Denver is accepting of Adam's condition and together they form a relationship although faced with many challenges brought on by the OCD. There is no magic cure just acceptance and support.Adam and Denver develop a relationship which includes a D/s component with the control element helping Adam with some of his issues. I can't say whether this is the correct way to handle such complex problems but it is done really well in the book. It is great to see that Adam is also seeing a therapist.
