Nic Starr

Nic Starr lives in Australia where she tries to squeeze as much into her busy life as possible. Balancing the demands of a corporate career with raising a family and writing can be challenging but she wouldn’t give it up for the world.

Always a reader, the lure of m/m romance was strong and she devoured hundreds of wonderful m/m romance books before eventually realising she had some stories of her own that needed to be told!

When not writing or reading, she loves to spend time with her family–an understanding husband and two beautiful daughters–and is often found indulging in her love of cooking and planning her dream home in the country.

A.J.'s Angel - L.A. Witt Well written story exploring the concept of forgiveness and trust. After being betrayed by Luke 4 years ago, Sebastian needs to deal with his feelings when Luke makes an appointment with him to get a tattoo. Perhaps forgiveness comes a little too easy in this story and Luke's motivations are not fully understood but it is difficult not to feel some level of sympathy and hope things work out for these men. They obviously shared something special (at least sexually) before Luke's cheating. "We burned the midnight oil making love, even if it was just kissing and touching, for hours. It could be a single candle, Fourth of July fireworks, or anything in between." However this begs the question, why did Luke cheat particularly as he said the cheating was just about sex?I particularly liked the style of writing with Sebastian's inner voice commenting and how Sebastian's thoughts are used to provide flashbacks into the men's history.
